ok me and my friend say Deon sanders is way faster than barry sanders going all out down the field which is basically common sense but my other friend disagrees. So who was faster goin all out down the field deon or barry. We have asked other people at my school and most people have been sayin deon but some stupid people have been sayin barry sander. Barry Sanders was jus really quick and had moves when deon had crazy speed. So in ur opinion who was faster at goin a full sprint down the field and if u can prove it that would be great. I need some evidence.

Deion is the fastest guy in any sport I have ever seen. Barry was quick & fast but not Deion Sanders fast!!!!

In a dead sprint, Deon would kill Barry. Barry's agility is what separated him from most players. The guy's cutting ability and explosiveness coming out of a cut was God-like. It was after a cut that he broke most tackles - when the defender could barely get a hand on him, much less hang on. Barry was fast, but definitely not as fast as Neon Deon.
If you were talking about a cone drill or something, that may be a different story.
On a side note, Barry probably was a much better tackler lol.

Deon Sanders no doubt! However, Barry was a better football player in my opinion.

If you want to get real you can't really answer this question. Because you never know how good Jim Brown or Barry Sanders could have been if they stayed in the nfl as long as Walter Payton did. But If I had to go with 1 person I would have to pick Walter Payton because he had everything you want in a running back.

It's like comparing apples to oranges. They are both fruits and both have the same last name. I believe that Deion (that is how it is spelled by the way) Sanders was faster but I also believe that Barry Sanders was a far superior football player especially when you consider he spent his whole career with the Detroit Lions.

I would say Deion Sanders but that's not proof I do know that at the NFL combine in 1989 the only one faster than Deion was Don Beebe . Barry was also in the 1989 draft but I don't know for sure if he was at the combine . He probably was and would have been smoked by both of these guys . His greatness came from his moves.

Deion is one of the very fastest players ever to play in the NFL. Barry Sanders is arguably the greatest running back to ever play but had nowhere the speed of a Deion Sanders who ran something like a 4.1 40 yard dash or something like that.

Yes deon was faster but Barry had more talent in his pinky.
