Honestly, I'd say ok, and? I don't tend to really care if someone likes or dislikes me, because in the end it's just going to be me around and if you hate me now or later I'm still going to be me and move forward in life. So if someone hates you, only you can let that effect you.

I think it depends on who it is ...but then again, not hate , but rather indifference is the opposite of love......so I think I'd have an effect on somebodies mind ;-)
