That's sad, adults can still experience the wonder of Christmas, I do through my nieces and nephews. Be with children on Christmas! It's kind of sorry to say, but I don't like having all the responsibilities of being an adult. As a kid, I could do anything and get away with it, even though most of the time I knew better. "Oh, she's just a kid, she doesn't know any better." I think there is a reason "Peter Pan" is my favorite childhood story.

I miss not having any responsibility. Life was so easy when I was young and Mom had to worry about everything. Now I have to do all the worrying because I'm the mom!

The lack of serious responsibility... someone else to do my laundry, buy my clothes, pay my bills, make my lunches for me. And all I had to do was pitch in with household stuff and get my homework done. Then I could go out and play in the yard! That's what I miss!

Sitting there perving on boys that I knew I'd never have..... and not caring. In fact if they looked at me twice I'd freak out and run the other way!
Love was so much simpler then!

Being taken care of. Being able to just sit in my mom's or dad's lap and know that they would make everything right in the world.
