Found after 9 mos of being held captive by a cult. Found 18 miles from her home. She was walking the streets just 18 miles from her home for that long and nobody spotted her for so long. I guess until we know for sure there is the glimmer of hope that Madeleine is still alive. Just curious to know if there are any known cults in Morocco such as some of the wacky cults here in the US that would possibly do something like this? I think of the Horbeck case also. He was not hidden. He was on the streets riding a bike etc etc. Even spotted himself on park bench. Nobody recognized him. So there are nutjobs out there that kidnap kids and think nothing of having them out in public.
Just hoping still.

Chuck I was not comparing just showing their are nutjobs out there who are on some sort of power trip or something and just have their kidnapped victims out in the open.

Sunshine? Were they tried yet or are they still incompetant to stand trial. I do hope they stay locked up forever if they are never competant.

You always back up your thoughts with good information and some facts.
I think it's not her because of her cheeks and the nose shape completely different, when you have a pyxed image would be exaggerated so it's hard to check but the shape doesn't change that's why for me her nose seem different.
Back to your question I think that yes can happen something similar.

I remember Elizabeth Smart and I am hoping as well that this photo turns out to be a break in the search for Maddie McCann. I also remember hearing about white slavery rings from Venezuela being the possible source of Natalie Holloway's disappearance. I don't think we will ever know with her, though, which is SO sad!
