Oh...I see there is no link. It was Osama who attacked us? Well then why aren't we going after him? Hmm...that doesn't make any sense. You mean, he is still alive?? That means he could plan another attack on us! OMG!!

We don't.

Bush never said that. Ever.

Anyone who thinks so is either severely limited intellectually, or deliberately spinning anti-American propaganda in time of war..

Al Quida was responsible for 9/11, led by Osama Ben Laden.
Saddam as well as other Arab nations, i.e. Iran, Syria, Egypt, etc.were financing these Islamic terrorists which they seem to be many.

Because everytime Bush gives a speech about Iraq, somehow, he slips in 9/11 thus having people think that the two are connected. As a world leader once said "The more you tell a lie the sooner people will start believing it", Adolf Hitler

Want proof: The liberation of Iraq is a crucial advance in the campaign against terror. We have not forgotten the victims of September the 11th -- the last phone calls, the cold murder of children, the searches in the rubble. (speech on the Abraham Lincoln)

This was from Dick Cheney: If we're successful in Iraq.we will have struck a major blow right at the heart of the base, if you will, the geographic base of the terrorists who have had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11." [NBC's Meet the Press, 9/14/03]

And in a Fort Bragg speech about the war in Iraq, he mentions 9/11 at least five times.

Most conservatives are fairly logical people, and I doubt that many of them think Iraq was responsible for 9-11. The Bush administration used that tragic event as its excuse for invading Iraq, an objective it intended since its first day in the White House.
The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Hussein from the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was ridiculed, criticized and humiliated for not 'finishing the job' at that time and ousting Hussein. George W. Bush was selected President so that he could settle that score.

Dick Cheney wanted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands, and the giant U.S. military-industrial complex needed a 'new' war to boost its sagging profits from years of peace.

So, the Bushites lied to Congress, hoodwinked the American people, and conned our valiant U.S. troops into believing there was honorable purpose in attacking another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States. 675,000 Iraqis and 3,800 U.S. soldiers have sacrificed their lives so that a handful of wealthy elitists, industrialists and power brokers can become wealthier and more powerful.

It is the most shameful sham ever perpetrated upon the American people. -RKO- 09/26/07

Cheney has said it repeatidly.

Cheney has held to it after the evidence showing it isnt so.

Cheney has repeatidly said he has evidence that they are linked but refuses to share it.
__
Bush isnt the only person in the administration. Cheney says this link is there all the time. Either you believe the administration or you dont.

Please, give me a link or something to support your statement. Sadaam was an evil dictator that needed to be removed from power. The US, and UN intelligence thought there were WMDs in Iraq, they were wrong. It was never an official postion that Iraq was responsible for 9/11. We know it was Al-Queda and that hasn't changed.
