There's a site called shelfari where you can list all the books you've read and create a reading list for the books you want to read. There are discussion groups about specific authors, specific genres, etc. And, yes, reviews. I'm a member of a Dean Koontz discussion group, myself. I love this site!

www.bookreporter.com...this is a great site. They have "word of mouth", contests, etc. I have won 4 best sellers from them.
I get a weekly email from them. Have you checked your local library's website?
