My best friend is the lead role in an upcoming play. I’ll be going to see her play, however, should I get her something?? If so, what should I get her?

Flowers are the best precisely because they don't last long! (Or chocolates, champagne or sparkling juice, etc.)
Anyone who does many shows begins to accumulate too much stuff. Consumable items are always the most appreciated in my experience.
Even better is to send a card to her in the dressing room before the show, letting her know that you are there to cheer her on.

The kind of flowers doesn't matter. She'll appreciate anything you get her. Going to any more trouble such as framing the program, etc. is not something she'll be expecting and can be a lot of trouble so depending on how much you want to do then the flowers will be just fine.

If you do want to go to the trouble, one idea is to go on her and her castmates myspace pages and gather photos from rehearsals and make her a mini scrapbook. Get one big frame and put those photos around two programs if you can, one open to show her bio and or cast list and one closed to show the cover.

good luck!

As the others have said, flowers are nice- and pretty traditional in theatre.

Instead of flowers, you could have a copy of the play's program (playbill) framed to give to her. This can be done fairly economically, too, and she'll be able to have something she can look at (forever) to remind her of her hard work.

howdy KZ :) this is an thrilling decision, Michael Fassbender can turn his hand to something so i'm certain he will have the means to tug it off completely. besides the undeniable fact that sport-to-movie diversifications do not commonly finally end up ok. BQ: certain, I actual have the first and the 2d, both one of them are tremendous BQ: BIOSHOCK, and Legend of Zelda, 2 of my popular video games. i imagine they could both be impressive films. Legend of Zelda might want to correctly be some Peter Jackson fable epic, even as BIOSHOCK might want to correctly be a dismal, visceral Guillermo del Toro movie. BQ3: Ryan Gosling
