Well, my hubby was coming home from his 4th tour in Iraq.......and he ended up getting a ring on their pit stop in Germany. I was going to meet him at the airport. When I met him at baggage claim he just got down on one knee and proposed. I loved it because I was totally shocked. I had no idea that he was planning to do it. What made the moment extra special was that I hadn't seen him in so long, it was just so much happiness at once. I loved it!

Girl- lol no i think it should be the traditional way :D ive never even meet or heard of a women proposing to a guy like what is she supposed to do get on one knee and propose and hold out a ring that wouldn't look or be right at all

I've always pictured him proposing to me outside somewhere - somewhere nice, not like in a driveway or something. somwhere where it is just the two of us and of course, he has to get down on one knee! :)
i've always thought somewhere near a waterfall would be neat, but we don't have any waterfalls around here except tiny little ones, so it won't be near a waterfall...
i really don't care where he asks me, as long as he DOES ask me!!!! I will be SOOOO happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok,I am feeling like saying something stupid so here goes:.I'd give her one of those Russian nesting toys (I'd put the the ring in the centre).I'd write all kinds of nice things on each toy.The last one would have "Will you marry me?" on it.
How stupid does that sound?

I would go her to a very expensive restaurant and after we had finished eating I will bow on my knees, show her the ring and say: " Elektra, do you want to mary me?". So simple!

My husband made it kind of a big deal and the planning was kind of obvious. I would've liked it if he had kept it simple and secret, that would've felt more personal.
