L-I-B-E-R-A-L-S.......LMAO!!! ROTF!!!!!!!! I like that answer Thor girl. Another one of your ilk that doesn't have a clue(like yourself) about our civil rights. Funny that you so-called "patriots" dispise the very rights that you proclaim to love. Have a nice day.

If you are so LIBERAL about free speech...then why not let the recruiters on campus? They represent a very real and legitimate career path, and no one is forcing students to listen to them. How do you justify keeping that exposure from your students? To deny recruiters from even being on campus kinda goes beyond being hypocritical don't you think? It shows hatred, resentment, judementalism(?), prejudice, and discrimination....true liberalism.
Perhaps the military is a mirror which reflects all their inadequacies and shows a standard of discipline and courage they could never hope to achieve or even want to.
God Bless the brave!

Same as why SF banned the US Marines from doing part of a recruiting commercial there, they all would rather keep their left wing followers in tack and their Hate America First credentials for George Soros, the Daily Kos and MoveOn.org.

If Columbia takes government money, they will either end up losing it or letting the recruiters back on. The precedent has been set.

They have never met a terrorist they did not like. They love them on the left. Just look how many are running from Hollywood to play with the ugly Hugo from Venezuela.

Maybe the university doesn't want its students dying in someone else's ill thought out war! Why would it risk the brightest young minds of the future in an oil grab? The niversity has a duty of care to its students and sending them to potential death is not part of that! The students are free to go to any recruiter off premises.

Because recruiters lie to get fresh meat for Dick Cheney's occupation of Iraq.
Ahmadinejad had more credibility than Dick.

Allowing him to speak was one of the most American things they could do.
His supporters all know that he would never have allowed anyone he disagreed with a forum like that. Maybe it'll make them think....
