Knowin’ that he couldn’t have the toy ‘til his nuggets were gone.
A green traffic light turned straight to red
I hit my brakes and mumbled under my breath.

It sounds like Cat's In The Cradle by Cat Stevens. *Cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon Little boy Blue jumped over the moon* I can't quite get the rest of the lyrics put in order in my mind. I haven't heard it in a while
