Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit.

In order to get that paycheck.. I am required to pass a random urine test, which I have no problem with.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on their ***.

Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Can you imagine how much the state would pay for those test, or imagine the escalating crime rates after 80% of welfare reciepents fail the test. How about the sky rocketing cost of child services because parents who failed test can't provide. Survival is #1 priority for everone, take away welfare and crime will increase 50 fold. Average welfare check is $520 per month, average cost to house an inmate is $1800. per month.

Yeah Great Idea!!!...here is a star for you

wow i must say i really like that idea but i think the real problem is that there IS welfare im in favor of small government vote RON PAUL on primary, also I have to say drug testing also costs money for state and theyre relatively easy to pass with a little knowledge, it might really cost more money .

WOW !!! I never thought of that, that's a real good point. To bad the politicians aren't smart enough to figure that one out and propose legislation to fix this. I think I'm going to start firing off some e-mails. Thanks
