vga controller compatibility?

the driver for video controller (vga compatible) is not installed. i don't know where to download the correct driver.
computer info: windows xp pro, pentium 2, 416 mb of ram. if that helps.

You'll have to find out what video chip you're computer has.

With a P2 I suspect it'll be a Trident, S3 or NeoMagic chip if you don't know but it could be almost anything.

No that doesn't help...if you can tell me what kind of laptop it is that you have, like what brand and the model number that would be helpful
