Oh. Wow. I was gonna say "this morning when I looked in the mirror." but the carnivore, hmmmmm.
I think it was two summers ago, when I was pregnant with my son, and my mother, my daughter, and I were driving to a dog show in another county. There was a fox, [alive, even!] trotting by the side of the freeway.

About two weeks ago, while home on leave. Fort Stewart seems to have a few. I saw them last year also. Red ones I think. But the arctic foxes in Alaska were purdyer!!

We have both gray and red ones around here. But I seen a red one (most of been a male, because he was huge for a fox) running across the road last week. My daughter and I were waiting for the school bus and she seen it before me.

Last fall, in back of my house on the other side of the creek. Foxes are plentiful in the area I live (southern NYS) and are seen often.

I saw 3 last year - one in the woods, one alive by the side of the road, and one dead by the side of the road ... the last one wasn't the smartest fox, I guess. or at least the fastest.
;O)

...actually, I saw one run across the road where I live about 2 days ago...there's a lot of them in the mountains where I live and I see them fairly often...you can hear them at night...they have a screech that sounds like a woman screaming...it's a god thing they don't come in too close
I don't like them, by the way...they kill off a lot of smaller animals
