Because they are both "Greedy" and "Selfish. Capitalists have been controlling our lives for the past 30 years and through politics have also controlled our education. They have "conditioned" (BRAINWASHED) two generations into believing that everybody can be rich and that it is OK to be corrupt, steal and mislead others to get your wealth. However, in reality, we cannot all be wealthy as we would all become extremely poor. Therefore, the majority of people are living in cloud cuckoo land and support the rich people stealing everything from the poorest people. If a poor person steals a new coat from a major store, he risks going to prison. On the other hand, a rich person can underpay a worker (working in poor conditions) and overcharge on the price of a coat and that is legal. The rich person is stealing from both the worker and the poor person that needs a coat. As most poor people are honest and do not steal, they resent both the rich people and the thief as they have material goods that the honest, poor person needs and cannot afford. As long as we have a Capitalist world, the majority of the world's people will never be content.

It's basic human nature. We will never be content and happy with our lot, it's ' the grass is always greener' syndrome, we are always going to strive for bigger and better things.
