I'm not a middle child. But I was interested in stuff like that.
Middle children are the best usually. they are the most able socially, and know how to get things done their own way.
First born children are usually either too spoiled or the opposite. depends on the parents. the middle child is neither.
he or she is usually the wisest of the group and the only one seeing the whole picture.
So cheer up. if your the middle child, then your the best.

wow... and i thought i was the only one here!!!!!!!!!!!
as the middle child [between two girls] i have gone through very bizzar situations 'my elder sister was the clever one in the family, whereas the youngest was and always has beem the baby] which makes me 'the middle child.
, my Arabic teacher [gbhs] once told me that the middle child is like the pearl in the necklace, all shiny and BIG!!!!!,,,
everyone looks at it and pays more attention to it with regards to the other pearls...
you can't imagine how flattered i was that day, and he was right,
i can stand on my own and pretty much learnt to stand for myself whereas my other sisters would seek help from others[ which i also do from time to time]!
so don't worry my dears co- pearls you remain the wisest and the srongest of all!!!!!!!!!!! lol

As a middle child I find my role in the family as being the peacemaker. Sometimes it is overwhelming, but now at age 48 I seem to have good relationships with my family members. Some of the others don't get along so well.

I put my vote to Arabian Dune
I am the oldest, but my middle brother is the wisest in genral. me and the youngest brother are quite extreme in different things. I am too adventouros too emotional too many things, he is spoiled kid. My middle brother is middle in everything, but I believe I think it is good, especially for a girl.
so don't worry and make the best out of it.

I'm not the middle sister because we are only two. I am the younger one, but I still feel like the middle child! I think it's true that the older child gets more attention, and with later children the novelty wears off.
What I really hated was getting the answer "because you are younger!' to every "why, that's not fair!" I ever said! hehehe I love my sister and couldn't imagine life without her, but at times it gets really annoying when my mom tells me why can't you be more 3a2la like your sister! hehehe But I suppose I do deserve that sometimes! hehehe

I come in the middle like u. 2 siblings before me and 2 after. I don't care about it lol. I guess mom treated all of us equally although sometimes we commented on how she cares a lot for our elder brother and the youngest one, but I think we just tend to feel that way just cuz we're in the middle. but truthfully, parents love their children all equally.
oooh, someone has my nickname

I come absolutely the youngest in a long series of siblings.
I won't tell you how many or I'll be the story of the month :)
To give you a hint, the number is over 10, no kidding.
