Late morning ends at exactly midday but when it starts is open to discussion I guess. I think the fairest way to decide is anytime after halfway between when you get up and midday. In your case anytime after 9am would be late morning and in mine anytime after 10. Therein lies the problem with workmen. Sure he might not get up til 11.30 which means you wont see him ti 11.45. Late morning to me means after 9am until 12pm
late afternoon to me means like 3pm or 4pm
