The regular season is long, so long to the point where Won-Loss record doesn't tell you much.
Red Sox would be a trendy pick, even though the Yankees (blech) have been playing better baseball for a while.
But we all know that the trendy pick never wins. It'll be a team everyone overlooked, like the Anaheim Angels, or the Indians.

The playoffs start next Wed (The 3rd) and of course the Tribe will win the world series this year. They've been the hottest team in baseball since mid august, and don't look now, but they have the best record in baseball!!!!

well first off i believe that the red sox are going to win. I am a big baseball fan and a yankees fan but the redsox get big hits and have an awesome bullpen. Not to mention they have big papi and josh beckett

The playoffs start next Wednesday. And my hope is that the Indians will win. We Clevelanders are soooooo overdue for a championship. I know, that is said every year...but this is hopefully the year they can sneak up and take it all, kinda like Florida did to them in '97.

They start next week I think. Nobody can even guess who will win the series at this point..we dont even know who will clinch yet.
