Bush has to be thick if he is having to listen to others answers on this page....A lot of problems with the administration started long before he ever took office, there have been bad presidents ever since democracy was estalbished in 1776...
Bush is more of a figure head, the VP has more say so than he does, Congress is the one that approved to go to war, Bush cannot make that decision on his own. If you are nothappy about how things are running, change your leaders in the sentate and congress, then maybe things will be rosier for you...Doubt it...You can please some of the people some of the time, but you cant please all the poeple all the time...

Everyone forgets that he has a degree from both Harvard and Yale. No matter who your daddy is, you can't buy either of those.
And most likely you will never have a college professor that has a degree from both Yale and Harvard.
We also were fooled by the Left to believe that Kerry had better grades than Bush and we now know after the election it was just the opposite.
Bush said himself that he likes people to think he is less, because they underestimate him. I think that is very much how he has led his life and it got him to the presidency.
Even Ann Richards said that was her downfall when she lost against Bush in one of her most revealing interviews with Larry King.
It's very much calculated and smart.
I certainly don't know where some from the left thinks Rove is smart. It is very funny to me. I think the guy is an idiot, or the Democratic political machine has you hook line and sinker. That is on the same level of me thinking Pelosi is smart and the brains behind Hillary. Rove's a mouthpiece and does the political dirty work. To a simpleton, he may seem a threat since he is the front man, but my God use some common sense and listen to the guy.
You want smart on that level... look at Newt Gingridge and certaintly not Rove.

Americans voted him in on the basis of his name not realising that he is not the full shilling. However he has done nothing wrong or diferent from other presidents by virtue ofd the fact that no president runs the country single handedly anyway. And as long as he can just read the scripts put in front of him for another year then all of America can breathe a sigh of relief. Just because he aint the brightest spark in the pack doesnt mean anyone else would have done any diferently or better.
But it is true, he really cant think for himself.
by the way, The 'hey' bit sounds quite funny and made me laugh!hahahaha

perhaps he is just a puppet and their are sinister goings on behind the scene. Perhaps someone got him into power so that they could try to rule the world .well they and bush are playing a dangerous game with all our lives and i do agree ,he has no manners ,seems lost for words until someone prompts him in his ear piece . i think that when he makes those now famous bloomers its because he has misheard the person that's prom-ting him. I really worry about the consequences of his being in power

The man is as thick as pig crap. The only thing that has got him into, and kept him in office is the team of people behind the scenes who are doing his bloody job for him, and the fact that he's bumming off of his daddy's name. Having said all that, I feel a lot better knowing that he is too thick to make a decision for himself. If he had even a modicum of intelligence, we'd have all been nuked long ago.

My opinion is that Bush is simply used as a figurehead, a person that could take the blame when things go wrong. Yes, he actually is that stupid. But the president of the United States doesn't really have as much power as the government claims he does.

You are confusing political skills with intellectual ability.
Perhaps the fault lies not in our leaders but in ourselves for electing them. Most voters in a democracy follow their emotions instead of logic, can be fooled by empty promises etc.
I fear that a brilliant intellectual who lacks cunning and good looks will never achieve high office.
