God wants us to forgive then forget. If we forget the sins someone commited, he/she might feel guilty after time of realization. On the other hand, if we forgive someone and then later on forget, the load of the person and guilt will be reduced because he/she knew that it was alright for you.
Example
Case is: You tripped a person.
1st action (forget to forgive)
-You were not noticed. The person got about 10 stitches. Of course you would feel guilty. Later that day, you might have problems in sleeping, working, etc. because of too much worrying. You will feel like you want to know his/her status, and be forgiven. If she forgot it, only she got the comfort because her problems were gone, but yours is still there. In this action, only 1 got the advantage. Fact: Some people die because of too much worrying.
2nd action (forgive and forget):
-Same thing actually happens like action 1, but only, the two people, you and the he/she you tripped, got the advantage of forgive and forget. You don't feel guilty anymore and the person you tripped forgot your sin and had forgiven you. It is written in the bible, I just don't remember, that we should FORGIVE AND FORGET. It was written in that order.

It depends on what you did to me, I am more forgiving with my husband than I am with other ppl though and I don't know why. Sometimes I really hate him.

Some things you spit, some you swallow - and then there's the stuff that that just sticks in your craw (raw and recent)
So...no and no!
