Guess the trolls are on troll alert again. I wonder is this the only category that is affected. Maybe the others are going through the same thing for all we know. Good point you made there. I think people are so frustrated at this whole McCanns thing. They want to hear Madeleine has been found and this whole thing ove with. But everyone is entitled to their opinions.

You can't compare the two cases. Maxine Carr was terrified of/under the thumb of Ian Huntly, which many people would see as an excuse for not speaking out, or at least a reason. I don't suppose the McCanns have actually threatened their friends' lives.

I have to wonder if the McCann's are such good liars that they've pulled the wool over most people's eyes. Let's face it, anyone can lie. There's too much riding on this for them to admit the truth, they're too happy in the spotlight, they won't give that up easily.
On the other hand, they may be entirely innocent. I'm not sure what I think, but from what I've read (not on here, but on legitimate news sites) there's something not right about the whole situation.

I believe that if the McCanns did it (I believe accidentally is the more likely option) they are not telling anyone the truth only the lies to make it easier for them to live with any actions; take a look around the world , people who killed someone are great liars

It would make a good Agatha Christie novel, wouldn't it?
How about they know the parents have nothing whatsoever to do with the disappearance of their daughter? They know the McCanns better than you do.

I dont trust the maccanns but i too cannot seem to grasp the fact that 7 people can be persuaded to lie for you. Therefore i may suggest that only 2 others from the tapas bar are involved somehow.

Do they put in jail the one who robbers the bank or they put the one who's waiting outside in the car to run away as well?
Like the McCanns the friends keep changing their versions of facts also, so why not?
They're supporting child neglecting just because their friends or status friends...
Good picture they have all together, makes me sick how they are Doctors supposed to help people and can't even help their daughter!

If their friends believe the couple are innocent, then why would they feel the need to give false statements; I find it hard to believe that 7 people, who know that the couple are guilty, agree to cover up and give false statements in an elaborate plan to protect the McCanns.

I don't no about that, but they are also incompetant fools, as they new the kids where being left alone. I can't see anyone covering up something as serious as that if they were not involved, so I reckon they played no part. As for the McCanns'..............
