no there season isn't over they still have 13 games to play .
there are teams in the NFL who are just meant to be 8-8 or worse and once in awhile 1 of those teams has a really good year , that's a good year not good 2 years . Saints were playing on emotion last year with the Katrina crisis . until the Saints start using Reggie Bush like Pete Carrol did the Saints are not going to score many points. the NFL is to Big and Powerful for Reggie Bush to be punishing threat running up the middle give it to Duece and put Reggie in the Slot. The Saints have 5 more division games . But realize they are a career .500 club

I think the Saints have an enormous amount of talent, but they aren't utilizing it. You can't rely on just a passing game. When you do, you throw interceptions like Brees did last night. They have 2 great running backs with very different styles. Deuce needs the ball more to wear out their opponents defense. With that said, Bush can then make his big plays and it also opens up the field for Brees to make his deep throws. Common sense tells you that if 90% of the time a team is going to pass, then the other team is going to defend for the pass only. It is time for them to make a change before their season is over.

No. The season is just beginning.

They have thirteen more games to play. The best that they can do is 13-3. That would be an impressive finishing record.

They are playing poorly now perhaps. But when you are in the dumps there is only one direction to go...up.

I am not a Saints fan but isn't it just a bit early to be throwing in the towel? Now if they had a 0-8 record...they would still have eight more games to play and their season still is not over. But...That is NOT TRUE. They must compete in at least sixteen games.

Every team has to play sixteen games and their season ends at the completion of the sixteenth game...winning record...losing record...or tie record. Afterwards it is called POST SEASON play if they qualify. By contract they MUST play sixteen games.

not over yet. but 0-3 is a huge obstacle to overcome. brees doesn't appear to be the leader of last year, deuce hobbled off the field last night, and bush will never endure the punishment it takes to be a premier back. this is however the NFC and there will be an 8-8 team playing on wildcard weekend.

Possible. they look stale. No real excitement. No plays. Sorry but this was a good team to watch last year and won a few bets. Now they are like the old Saints. No motivation

the line on both sides of the ball is junk last night Vince young had all the time in the world to make is passes, unless the saints blitzed they got no penetration,

on the other side of the ball drew Brees had some one in his face or on his back for every play, the line couldn't protect him to save his life,

as long as this is the case i don't see their season getting any better,

No, for one simple reason

IT'S THE NFC!

An 8-8 record is almost likely in order to make the playoffs. The team can still rebound...they're off with a bye this week so they may be able to change.

In the NFC, they have a chance until they lose 10 games. They could lose 9 games and probably still make the playoffs, the NFC sucks that much. So for now dont panic.

I personally think that they still have a very good chace of making it to the playoffs if they can get there offense going and Reggie Bush can run the ball better for big plays.

The New Orleans Saints are back to their losing ways. The only reason, I believe they had that miraculous year last year was because a gift from the NFL. They played practically all bad teams last year. I doubt the Saints will even finish close to .500 this year.My prediction is 3-13.
