That's not true. Most women do not have anorexia nervosa. Very, very few women, compared to the total population have it. The estimate is around 1%. That's ridiculously low.

I don't think that "most" women suffer from this.
Although, you may mean: why are most anorexia nervosa sufferers women?
Men aren't usually under as much "pressure" to be thin, men can carry a little bit of weight and not be freaked out about it.

I don't think most do. People use the term too loosely. I think most women have distorted body images. They see themselves as imperfect because of standards set by society that often include 2% of the populations body type and plastic surgery. But anorexia is a very serious disease and most people fortunately haven't taken their insecurities to that level yet.

Yes You are right the most of the womaen have this problem the cause are
Family problems, inability to adjust in society, self-identity conflict (problem in body image) depression and other psychological problems are the associated causes for this disorder. They may try to deal physically with emotions that are otherwise difficult to express.

Because of men and the media. I don't have it, and I'm not so sure MOST women do. Many in certain areas it's more common than others.

MOST don't, SOME do. (There is a difference).
I suspect it is because they see the super skinny actresses and models, and then think that they too have to be super skinny to be sexy.
