Love spell doesn't work.

I saw this happen in an episode of "Tales From the Crypt"
The guy visited a voodoo doctor (played by Whoopie Goldberg if I recall correctly) and has a love spell put on a woman he likes. She warns him that this can be dangerous, but he goes ahead anyway, as it wouldn't be much of a show if he listened to her.
The woman soon dies, and the guy is heart broken. However, she comes back from the dead as a zombie and find him. After awhile she is rotting and all gross, but she wont leave him alone, and nothing he can do can stop her, because she is already dead.

Do you really want that to happen?

I don't know much about magic. I'm *very* sceptical myself. But everything i've heard says that if magic does exist, then motivation is *everything*.

If someone doesn't love you, and isn't the right person for you, would you *want* to cast a spell that would make them love you? You've got to think about the feelings behind that. I think that would be a very mean and controling thing to do. Not to mention very, very difficult.

But if you think there's someone out there who could love you, whom you could love, but you haven't found yet... Then a spell or a prayer to bring them to you, to let you meet them would be a very good thing to cast.

Or if you wanted to bring out the best side in yourself, so that other people would see it, would see all the good things you have to offer, that could be a worthy spell too.

I think that if you want to do real magic, proper magic, then you have to know yourself. Meditate, find a way to focus. Rituals and candles and so forth are good for that. Look inwards, know yourself, and learn what makes you happy, and what makes you at your best. Be good to yourself, and look after yourself. Remind yourself in every day, and in every thought that you deserve to be loved, and make sure that its true.

Love, in one form or another, should come your way.

Spells don't work. It's hookum.

Why don't you try loving yourself first?

Spells don't work.

If you want someone to love you, the best way to do it is to work on being lovable -- kind, honest, decent, interesting.

Using a spell would cheat both you and the other person.

No, spells don't work. It's silly childish "magic" and there is utterly no scientific evidence whatsoever for their efficacy. Remember, you're asking this in the Science & Mathematics category where (supposedly) reason and rationality prevail.

You will likely get a very different answer over in Mythology & Folklore.

i highly discourage you from practicing these kind of spells. A lot can go wrong, but it is you and their life so do as you will. Though controlling someone's emotions can backfire. Why not simply cast a beauty/attraction spell on you to attract your desired love?

anyway, if you must, and it goes badly, here is a breaking spell:

"Cutting The Ties That Bind Us" Spell:

- Make two puppets, on to represent you, and the other to represent your partner. You may personalise them by adding hair or just writing their names.

- Take some red string or ribbon and tie the puppets together. Make the knot where it ties around each puppet be approximately in the heart area.

- As you do this, think about the time when you made your love pledges.

- When done take a moment and look at the two puppets, tied by love because that takes us from what was then to right now.

- Now when you are really ready, take a pair of scissors and say:

"The time has been,

The time has gone,

what once was tied,

is now undone."

- Cut the ties that bind.

- Again, take a moment as you then also untie the remainder of the strings from the puppets, and focus on a very positive sense of health and freedom for both who are now untied.

- At this point, you can also bless them both, do healing on them, or pray for them because your partenr may suffer painful heart ache, depression, or headaches

They can work...but be careful what you ask for. You can be bound to another person, but that doesn't mean that you will stay together. Everyone needs someone to love, but I would not suggest a spell...

NO.

Use the time you would have spent on a silly spell and do something to improve yourself so that a girl would like you :)
