Mommy or Daddy???? I think it's for children but I've heard plenty of adults call them Mommy and Daddy.....

not If they're trying to be funny or joke around/act childish/etc. but if they call them mommy/daddy all the time, it's odd (I call them "mom & dad" & have been since about kinergarten)

I guess it depends on the relationship they share... annoying no, strange yes... I am not jugemental like that though. Not saying you are, just saying that it doesn't annoy me
