It was more Tory than cameron could ever do.
- British Jobs for British people, had Micheal Howard stated that, the Guardian would play havoc at the xenophobia.
-Punishing absent fathers - Labour laughed when John Major suggested it.
-Health and education policies were straight from the Tory manifesto.
-Less paperwork for Police on the beat
- Stop and search powers.

Not much mention of the Unions either, the point is the Unions bloody loved it, so does that mean they are Tories in Disguise?
The best one was repatriate immigrants who sell drugs or carry weapons - its all crap. talk good do nothing. The European Court of will put a stop to that!

under Labour control this country is going to the dogs and there is no one out there to stop it, we don't get a vote in this country for all the important decisions like Europe and we have to be happy with what they decide. I think people forget that half of the MP's that love Europe are lining themselves up with nice little jobs at the end of it. They will just have to sign over the country to Europe and then sit back and enjoy their retirement.

Brown signed all the cheques and crossed all the forms for 'new' labour for ten years, do people really believe he will be any different now he's the unelected 'head man'?

These speeches always promise big but never deliver. And is there really any difference between Tory and Labour now anyway? They both just vye for the same policies that they think the public will keep them in power with and try to outdo eachother on them.

Its time to sweet talk the Nation into forgetting the past 10 years of stealthy underhanded politics. Time for him to pretend he has our best interests at heart instead of his greedy penny pinching taxes. And the gap widens between upper and lower classes under his rule!

Nothing he says will convince me he cares anything about what happens to the future of my family or yours. He will use any means and say anything to persuade people that he has, including using other parties policies.

Trouble is the people who have always voted labour will continue to do just that. simply because the party is officially called New Labour.

Listening to Mr. Brown's speech it was hard to beleive this was the same Gordon Brown who had already been in power, albeit as Chancellor for the last 10 years.
As for his assertion that he was a conviction politician that really was laughable. If that were true why was he prepared to share power with Tony Blair, a man whom he clearly resented for having lied to him and who denied him the premiership for so long.
A man whose policies he clearly did not beleive in, as he is now quietly ditching them one by one, but who as Chancellor, was more than happy to support, as long as it meant he could keep his snout in the trough of power. So much for conviction!
Then came the policies, health, education, crime. But hang on? We've heard all this before Gordon and had record spending in all these areas with precious little to show for it over the last 10 years.
Then came the quote from the Bible.
I'm always suspicious of politicians who spout religious qoutations. Blair had deep religious convictions as did Bush and look where that led us!

After a husband has beaten the Sh@t of his wife he feels remorse and sucks up to her to get her to take him back. Invariable she does, just so he can beat her up again.
The "new" labour has beaten the country up several time and Brown sold the family silver (Gold reserves) as well. The smiling liar got the country to take him back twice, now brown nose sees the same opportunity and is asking to be taken back ! and do you know, I think, true to form, the country will vote them back in again.! Oh god, I think I ought to emigrate !!!

I thought his speech sounded like an election manifesto. I don't like the man and certainly would not vote for him and his band of crooks!
