Never tilt or lie a fridge down for very long. The compressor has oil in it that can get into the lines if not upright. If you do tilt lie it down for a period of time keep upright for a day and restart it. A fan usually blows the cold air down to the fridge from the freezer depending on age. The freezer has to get to a certain temp before the fridge can get cold. Also when defrosting some fridges can get blockage from food particles. Pour some water in the freezer and make sure that water goes down to the drip pan below on the ground. You do not have to empty this pan for the water will evaporate.

Sounds like the fan isnt working in most cases. They can get a bit rusty if you leave it off for extended periods of time.

i,m takeing it thats a combination unit ? the freezer is the only part that works on a freezer/fridge unit, the cold air from the freezer falls down to the fridge part, there is a fan under the freezer pan that blows cold air down, it may be bad, as far as laying it on its side , then trying it is a bad idea, so look for a damper under the freezer part , it may be stuck closed

Just turn your freezer control to a low setting. It is closing off a vent and restricting the air from entering the fresh food side.

possible the circulating fan (generally located in freezer) is not running it may have a wire off or just froze up. try turning the impleller by hand if stuck it may just take off, if it does begin to work apply a little 3 in 1 oil or wd40 on the fan shaft .hope this works for you

There should be a reset button at or near the motor, just reset it.
