Usually help because I don't want my best answers % to get too low, so I more often than not give quality answers. If you are the sort who returns to a question to check out the situation after you answered it, you'll find that my answer is usually edited for several times, becuase I try to edit it to make it more presentable. Either that, or I do not answer it at all. And I agree with cursed@birth, if the question does not demand a serious answer we usually say "thanks for the two points" to fill up the space. It's also a convenient way to end our answer. If I want to gain points fast I'll just vote. =)

Both but usually to help I only answer for points when there are no interesting questions left and I'm trying to build my levels......Thanks for the 2 points usually is given as a response when the question is not serious, not worth answering or is someone that is asking racist/sexist/discriminating things.

I typically answer to help or voice my opinion. There are times when there is nothing to say that could possibly answer the question, so 2 points it is... now that I have unlimited answers, I don't do it so much.

I would answer questions because I have something in mind that would in any way relieve her/she. And it so happen that the reward is there so be it. The point system is there to inspire you especially if your piece is selected as the best answer.

I do it for fun and the points are nice yes because the higher levels don't have limits so I guess so in a way.

Well, I do both. I want the points to increase my limits, but also I feel good about it when I can help someone.
