It depends upon whether or not you are a high school or college student, and your originating country.

If you are a high school student in the U.S. a list of all the exchange organizations certified to operate in this country is at www.csiet.org. It is NOT advisable to use a company not on this list! You should also check with your high school counselor for his/her recommendation. An organization is only as good as its local representatives.

You can also check out http://www.exchangestudentworld.com/
This is a web site written by exchange students themselves and has lots of good info on it for all stages of the experience!
