Yes. I always do stop to enquire if I could help them in any way. With my little knowledge of auto engines, I have so far restarted cars of a dozen or more travelers. I relish the immense pleasure which I get in such action. My kids, however , do not approve it.They are afraid that I may fall in some trap.To test others nature, once I parked my car, opened the hood and went under the car body showing part of my body to passers by. I kept the show for half an hour when hundreds of motorists passed but no one stopped for me. I am male aged 72.

Female and sometimes since it's actually illegal where I live to leave a stranded motorist during winter months as the temperatures are to extreme but otherwise I call someone unless it's in a crowed place where I feel safe stopping then I will.

No, because in Houston,
you never know how real it really is.
For example: Look at how Ted Bundy
lead girls to their death,
by pretending to be broke down
or
by having problem due
to a broken arm (fake cast).
I'm not the trusting sort.
Now this is one of the
strange things that
I've been known to do.
If I'm on the Interstate,
and I see a biker broke down
and he's sporting his "colors",
I'll stop & offer assistance.
Even though,
I don't know him.

Nope, unless it's like an elderly woman and needs obviously simply help (some load became unsecured or something)... I don't have a cell phone and I don't know enough about cars to help.

Oh, and I'm male.

No. There are many cases here where robberies fake an accident scene and rob any passerby who stopped.

Usually, if they aren't already on the phone and if no one else has stopped.
I'm male, can't you tell?
I see it as an opportunity to screw with someone elses car for fun.
