I'm wearing one now.
Jumpers are usually worn over something else, T-shirts are usually the layer nearest the skin.

Well I would call it a long sleeved t shirt as to me a jumper is knitted. I class it by the material I suppose. Don't know if I am right though

Yes, I am wearing a long sleeved t-shirt right now! It is described as a long sleeved t-shirt in the catalogue I bought it from.
Tell your boyfriend he is a muppet! Jumpers are made of wool!

Yes you can. I bought two earlier in the year in Marks & Spencer. They're in the same material as short-sleeved T shirts.

Course you can have long sleeved tees, I own long sleeve tees, they're great to just chuck on with jeans when you can't think of anything to wear and they're also fab in Winter for layering. =]
Here are some long sleeved TEES :

WOW!!! is your relationship usually so controversial. how on earth do you both cope with serious issues? it must be hell for you.
seriously though. you are right and he is wrong. (worked in the fashion industry for many years.)
anyway it's about time you taught him that women are always right within a relationship (even when the female is wrong). he is male and can NEVER be right on any issue. LOL. X
