The SB5101i surfboard cable modem does not have any type of user interface and is not a wireless device, so it will not have security keys and such. The modem is a plug and play device that will connect your computer to the internet.

If you are using wireless then you must have a wireless router attached to your modem. Please give us the make and model of the router and I will be happy to tell you how to log into it.

Plug the modem into the community port on the router (many times on the left). Then plug the pc into the Lan port. enable DHCP on the two the pc and the computer. Use your browser to configure the router (many times at 192.168.a million.a million or 192.168.a million.a hundred). as quickly as you have set up the community, you are able to discover the router from the computer and enter the protection key - that could desire to establish the relationship.
