If a person looks at sexually explicit images for sexual arousal , could this be considered a form of voyeurism? Sexually suggestive images for the enhancement of sexual excitement ?( am not on a "porn witch hunt"). Would like to know if this act could be considered a form of clinical "voyeurism". Images that are obtained legally, not peeping-Tom type behavior.. (remember not judging behavior, trying to see if it falls under what is defined as Voyeurism. Thanks for your input.;.Be nice please:)

Matt & Susan, yes, voyeurism covers a broad area and printed images would be included, but the commonest use of the term applies to watching videos of people having sex, and watching others having sex.

Voyeurism is a practice in which an individual derives sexual pleasure from observing other people.
Sure, pornography is a form of voyeurism.
But some would argue that enjoying watching a movie is a form of voyeurism

No it isn't. Voyeurism is when a person gets more pleasure at watching than at doing, if I may say so.

I think voyeurism implies a living person, not images. But that's my opinion.
