I'm sure we all have different views on the meaning of life, so what's your view on it.

The meaning is to wonder what the meaning is. There is not any one answer that finaly works. Well, maybe there is after death, but I don't remember.
Just keep pondering and the ponderer will become an ocean. Evaporation and precipitation. Pondering again.

I'm an atheist and I believe there is no grand meaning of life. There is no sentient being watching over us rewarding us for good deeds, so the meaning of life is to survive and reproduce, just as our genes tell us.
That's not to say that you shouldn't strive for goals though. I'd still like to become well known for something. That'd be cool no matter how you look at life.

Procreation (reproduction) is not a purpose. Obviously you don't need to have children in order for your life to have meaning. Procreation, breathing, sleeping,etc. are all part of a natural process and natural processes cannot give purpose nor meaning.
Our lives have meaning when we live for a real purpose. Real purpose requires God.

To seek God, to know God, to glorify God and to find our joy in God is our purpose.

To get on with what we have, and make our counter parts lives as easy as possible and them ours in this most difficult place we call earth, oHH! and I know it`s easier said than done but we all have to try to be positive, till we go,
