its not that im complaining but im already tired from school, we do enough work at school...home is where you relax and spend time with family but when i got a lot of homework, i hardly eat dinner with my family...i have to stay and do my homework until 12.

Have you ever thought that teachers have homework as well? They have to grade every assignment and test that all of their students have done.

homework is good, but sounds like you have a lot! It shouldn't keep you up till 12 or frm eating with your family!!! Maybe you are not managing your time well. Think about how you can change your schedule so you won't be up so late and you won't miss dinner! Those are 2 important things!!!
But really, its a school night and its late! Why are you not in bed??? Get some rest so you can be ready for your work load tomorrow! ;)

Because practicing and writing down what you learn in class is proven to help your capacity to remeber the task. According how you do your homework also helps your teacher know where you are deficient and offer some kind of personalized teaching, but I don't think they do that anymore.

A little bit of homework is good actually cause it helps our minds practice on what we learnt. Like maybe a few worksheets a day.
But homework that keeps you till MIDNIGHT?!

So you can get it finished for school, (I used to hate school as a teen, -now I wish I could go back,) the problems after highschool are worse or can be; "bills, work, stress, etc", so enjoy it while you can.
