I refer of course to a process of meritocracy rather than tokenism. Honest, heart felt answers are far and away more poignant than quasi politically correct ones. How do You rate the participation of Male contributors?

It would most definitely be a move in the right direction and would prove for once and for all that the new title Gender and Women's Studies truely lives up to its name, and wasn't something to just to keep everyone's trap shut.

I've been scheming and plotting for two months now, voting for my own answers and whatnot, yet I don't think I'll ever get the coveted orange bar.
Perhaps there will be some affirmative action program implemented that will ensure some equal representation in the top contributor club.
Oh well! I live for thumbs anyway. Actually, I'd like to see a feature added where you can sort answers based on the ratings it receives. I'd like that.

Male contributors are good contributors. Some woman are good contributors too.

2nd Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate male participation from what I've seen so far as a 2 giving them credit because at least they're energetic enough to be annoying.

I think "I Heart Venus-symbol" is a "Top Contributor". And despite his screen name that may be misleading, he is not a supporter of the feminists & misandrists. Phil #3 I think as well.
There are male "top contributors" for Gender & Women's Studies.
