Many great players in the past had a slow start after coming to the big leagues. Hank Aaron 468 at bats 280-13-69 and Mickey Mantle 341 at bats 267-13-65. I believe Alex Gordon 253-15-59 has all the tools to make it big and that could be as soon as next year. He is just a 23 year old kid with the possibility of a great future ahead of him, we should just give him a little time.

Alex Gordon was hailed as the next George Brett. He did not look like a Hall of Famer this year but he was just a rookie!

Throwing Gordon under the bus now is irrational.

Gordon got off to a terrible start, but has played MUCH better since the All-Star break. I think too much was expected too soon. Lest we forget, George Brett didn't have such a hot start either - or Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson, and several other notables
