I want to dress as one of the von Trapp children for Halloween, but I can't find any lederhosen with the pattern from the curtains in the movie. Where do I buy them, or where can I find instructions on how to make them?

Go to a good fabric store, and ask to see green leaf print upholstery and drapery materials. (As I recall imperfectly, the fabric was a green and gold brocade?)Then get a pattern for the lederhosen, get enough fabric to make them, and then either sew or take them to a seamstress or tailor and have them made.
