You have SO MANY startup programs being loaded when you boot. You also probably have so many large files on your desktop rather than just shortcuts. Clean your desktop of files and just maintain shortcuts.
Try disabling all startups. Click start, click run, type msconfig, ok. Select Startup tab, disable all, apply. You would need to restart. Now check the time to boot. It should be faster. Go back to msconfig to enable only the important startups.

Because that most software has automatically function. When you go to the system they would automatically run in the background. So you always use the software is more convenient. But it will also cause unnecessary troubles. There is so much software when you start your PC that the speed will slow down and they can impact of your normal use. We can tell you some simple methods to clear them.
Method 1 You can find start-up under options in settings and check close. It is difficult to close one by one, once automatic operation programs are too many.
Method 2 You can clean automatic operation programs by manual operation. They are in “run” option of the registry and start menu. Find and clean them.
Method 3 If you think the above two methods are not suitable for you. You only clean Start up by professional software. Of course, it is the simplest way. It invisibly saves a lot of energy and time.
You can click the website http://computer-optimize.com/ to find the satisfied software

I wish my solution could help you.

good luck!!

Reduce the number of items on your startup list. Uninstall all unwanted programs and remove junk from the drive. Have enough free space at all times. If its overloaded and cluttered with fragments, everything including startup will take ages. Fragmentation is a disease which debilitates drive and PC performance in general.
How much RAM do you have? Atleast 1 GB is good if you have a lot of programs running.

So far you have got all the standard answers. But faulty hardware can also cause a computer to start very slowly. So if the standard fixes don't work, try an independent computer professional who will know the non-standard fixes.

check to see that you do not have a lot of programs set to start automatically with windows, also check for spyware and viruses

as a last resort you can reformat (after backing up data) then install just what you will use (programs)

and also make sure that you have the original disks and any software was not installed (bought later)
-or- take it to a repair place but will cost you $

Check what programmes etc. are in start up automatically.Probably far too many, Edit them out..They are still available if required but not in the start up sequuence. Things like photo files etc. Editing should speed up your start.
