As long as she's passing the gas, everything is OK. Her system is adjusting to her new meals and the new way she's being fed. She might also be taking in a bit of air while she's nursing. Let her fart and burp away. If she starts having trouble passing gas, try pumping her legs like she's riding a bike but both legs at the same time, or lay her on her tummy, place your hand on her back and gently roll her back and forth - just a little. If that doesn't work, give her some Mylacon drops (follow directions on the bottle). Congratulations, good luck and God bless :o)

You can't do anything about it but just try to soothe the baby. You have to be very patient with the baby because they always have stomach ache when they always pass gas. Ask your doctor if the formula for your baby can be the kind that does not come from animal but from vegetable.
Whispering to the baby (sssshhh) while putting your fingers and stroking the baby gently in the tummy like you want the baby to keep quiet will help a little bit. Also don't give your baby a cold milk - warm it a little bit - to check if the milk in the bottle is not too hot for the baby, pour a tiny bit of formula in your arm and if it's a little warm to you then it's ok to feed the baby with that milk temperature.
By the way, your baby is called colic baby because he is passing too much gas. Change of milk can solve this problem. Ask your baby's pediatrician about soy milk instead of cow's milk or animal's milk.

congrats!
the best you can do for her right now is burp her (try diff. positions too, like across your lap on her tummy, up against you, turn her around facing away from you and hold one leg up and lightly bounce). sometimes it helps to lightly bounce her and "tap" her bottom. if it's been a while since she's pooped, you can use a thermometer and petrolium jelly and just stick the tip into her bottom. that'll help her poop. there are gas drops you can use (if it's worth a run to the store... someone else of course.) otherwise, just hang in there and keep up with the burping. I PROMISE it wont last forever.
good luck!!!

Get some colic relief drops from your local drugstore. Also, some babies can not tolerate iron in their formula (neither of mine could) so if the colic drops don't work, try a low iron formula. You can start out with a bottle or two and then give her the regular formula to see if this low iron formula would work. She should not be as gassy on the low iron.

Pat, rock, lightly bounce. A really good one is letting her sleep on your stomach for a while(in a safe place so she can't roll). If your bottle feeding you might want to look up the brand and make sure it's a good infant bottle. Also if using formula wait another week then ask the doctor if it could be causing the gas. Good luck.

This sounds silly, help her fart. Hold her legs up to her chest to get the gas out. If you are breast feeding, watch what you eat but be aware even water will give her gas sometimes!
Her digestive system is immature so it may take awhile to regulate the gas, keep helping her pass it and don't waste too much money on that medicine for babies gas, it never worked for me!

If you go to Walmart or a local store and find their gas relief medacines (like beano) they actaully have one for infants. If you can't find it then ask someone where it is. I think it is called like Mylicon or something to that effect. It does work really well and will help with her gas pains.
Good luck

congratulations! i used brauer colic relief when my son was small to help his gas. Other than that, burp her during feeds, keep her upright and try laying her over your forearm, with her face down. Gentle baby massage is good too, gently massaging her belly and chest and upper legs can help.

It's normal for them to burp, they 're just learning how to adapt to a new world. Look where they've been for the past 9 months.
