My boyfriend got into my purse and used my cell phone without my knowledge. He has one of his own but used mine to make an annoymous text message to his former Boss. Stating that he should take a close look at the employee who works for him. This person took over his position. And boyfriend has been bitter ever since. The boss traced the number back to my other boyfriend and said he was contacting his attorney and HR> people. My other boyfriend hasn't a clue yet what's going on. He is also an attorney. The one who did it has taken off leaving me holding the bag. Anyone with suggestions. Please hurry. I am a wreck right now. I did nothing wrong to anyone. I am really upset.

Sincerely,

Marseille

Don't panic. I really don't think that there is much he can do to you. Just tell him that you were unaware that the call was made from you phone. If ther two bfs were unaware of each other, then you may have a problem.

Well since he is in TRADOC and the army has more the enough people he could actually be captured out with failure to adapt but that like at the highest that could happen. He might get an article 15 or a negative counseling statement either way this is not a good way to start off if he cant follow a simple order like not to use your cell phone how does he expect to do in the real army. I hope he is in the national guard because if not I hope he gets a good NCO that will put him in his place.

I did not read your story, but the question itself.
If he really did do that this is a sign of a control freak. Now I read your story, No matter the situation he has no right to touch anything of yours without your consent or knowledge this is still a sign of a control freak, to me it sounds like since your his gurl he owns you as well as everything you own and can do whatever he wants with it., their is no excuse for that, bitter or not\, his gurl isn't what has made him bitter just because things go wrong for you dont give you an excuse to disrespect people by taking and using their stuff without consent that is disrespectful. dump him your not married to him. but do not put any grudge or hate in you. but if you have two boyfriends well im sorry but you deserve this. this day was coming.

Ya know....dating an attorney is your real mistake here. Life Principle no1. If you want your boyfriend to be a person of character you first must find a person of character to be your boyfriend.

I think the guy is a weasel. If his approach to problems is that weak then he will approach his relationship with you and problems that will arise with an equal lack of indirectness and integrity. Thats a huge red flag....are ya blind?

Talk to an attorney. Better yet talk to your attorney boy friend. That sure is going to be a hard one to tell him. Well youbeen lie right along so lie to him some more. Tell him that you lost your cell phone.

your boyfriend is a jerk for putting you in the middle of this. if he's a lawyer he should have better sense than to do something that could trace back to someone he cares about. i think you should tell him that you don't want anything to do with the situation, find out if you're legally responsible to say who used your phone to send the message, and if not, just stay out of it completely. and make it clear to him that he better not pull anything stupid like that again.

Dump the crappy boyfriend, keep the attorney. Look, just tell them what happened. Reasonable intelligent people should be able to work this out.

Sounds like an empty threat to me to get "you" whoever to back off.I wouldn't worry about it unless something really comes of it,then you have to tell the truth. Also you should tell boyfriend number 1(I think) that if he has something to say to someone he should man up and use his own dam phone.

i'm not sure how it got linked to your new boyfriend, since it was your cell phone, but in any case you can just state what happened, i don't think you could be held liable for the use of your phone without your permission.

They can't prosecute you for something you didn't do. You would have no reason to write a message like that so I wouldn't worry about it. You have really strange relationships.
