hi
i'm 59 and the truth has shattered my reality more times than i like to think about now....but would i rather be lied to?....absolutely not!!
it is sometimes difficult dealing with the implications of a truth, but in my experience there is always something to be gained/learned in some way and the pain of the shattering does finally recede as you get more perspective after awhile....distance and time are sometimes/usually required....but change is really the only constant we can count on anyway....

No. It is always better to live with the truth than living in a fancy world of lies. If you reject truth, you are rejecting honesty, and accommodating false hope and faith. You cant fool yourself forever; sooner or later.... you will want to know the truth and so, you will anywayz end up being hurt (if its a bitter truth) therefore, knowing the truth and handling the pain and getting over it done, sooner than later is better. :)

no. its harder to lie because there will come a time that the lie will be known and the reality youre saying will be more shattered. lie can never give you comfort.. maybe for a while.. but in reality, no..
listen to the song dear lie by tlc..
youll know what i want to say..=)

No, it's better to know everything. Sure it will hurt, but if you're being lied to, it just makes you wonder more & lying about other things that they don't tell you & then it could happen again & again.
