I don't know if I'd go as far as others with the greatest ever talk, but the NFL has known for over a decade that he is not good, but great. I personally think he's stayed a little too long, but maybe after a great year this season he'll hang up the pads. He is a Hall of Fame player without a doubt, and probably will be a first year ballot pick. Anyone who doesn't know of the legacy of Favre either doesn't really watch the sport, or is "special" if you know what I mean.
I just wish he'd retire after this season. The Packers need to rebuild, and Aaron Rogers needs a chance to prove they didn't waste that 1st round pick a few years back.

You obviously don't know anything about football. Let me guess, your either a Viking, Bear or Charger fan...
Brett Favre is the most winningest QB in NFL History, he's won a superbowl, at the end of this season he will have every single passing record, and he's just a great all around guy in general.
In my opinion, I think he is the Greatest QB to ever play the game.

When did you start watching football? Last season? Brett will be first ballot HOF when his playing days are over. He has been to 2 Superbowls (won 1), numerous Pro Bowls and has three consecutive MVP awards. Not to mention he has tied and barring injury will break Dan Marino's career TD pass record. Also the winningest qb in the NFL. Also an ironman, Brett has started an NFL record of over 240 straight games. I don't thing he is good qb at all, I think he is a GREAT qb!!!

Apparently you didn't watch either of the last two games. He is basically willing the packers into scoring points on his own. They have almost no running game. Honestly the NFL already knows he's good. The man is the best QB to ever play the game. He's rewriting the recordbooks week in and week out and if you are ignorant enough to not know that (which I highly doubt) you mustn't actually pay attention to football. I have a feeling you just pretending to not know sh*t.
