Yes! A license should be required to have kids!!! That way only certain privileged people would be able to have kids... It would prevent all those people who think babies = welfare checks from having 13 kids! All those whackos that wanna keep popping out kid after kid should have their license revoked after the 3rd child! With a license, it would be illegal to have a child before a certain age, so that would end all the teen-aged pregnancy...
What a great idea! You're really on to something! I think I'll write my state senator and suggest a child-bearing license!

i do no longer understand with regard to the sterilized until eventually 25. yet I do think of a few human beings could get licenses. Like while mom and dad smoke in front of their infants. additionally i understand you have AS, and that i do, and somewhat some human beings have themes and have problematic cases setting up in and that i do no longer think of the difficulty is purely young infants no longer respecting adults. it rather is young infants no longer respecting different young infants. i won't have the capacity to tell you the limitless style of cases somebody has blocked my selection/e mail because of the fact they think of i'm some style of freak. mom and dad actual a million) ought to demonstrate screen how their infants take care of others and a pair of) i do no longer think of mom and dad could be allowed to have somewhat some infants. we are in contrast to animals, if we've been meant to have a lot and many young infants, we would have litters of youngsters, we would constantly have triplets, quadruplets, and so on each and all the time. This overpopulation agency makes me ill because of the fact human beings choose young infants youthful and youthful and picture it rather is okay and that they choose somewhat some young infants. they choose multiples. I purely went to an aquarium and it confirmed that if the craze maintains and individuals shop having an excellent number of youngsters, how lots land/rainforest may well be long previous. It became undesirable. So confident, I agree, some human beings don't have young infants because of the fact some young infants in the present day take care of their friends and oldsters like crap and haven't any comprehend for another and that they drink and smoke and have intercourse and agh subsequently when I even have young infants they're going to be homestead schooled.. and a few human beings purely have too many young infants! So confident, I trust licenses or required parenting training.

Well you have the right idea but I dont think it would work. What happens when somebody drives without a license? They get arrested. If somebody has kids without the required license, should they arrest them? Then the baby has parents in jail. They may actually be good people that would make good parents, but ended up going to jail because they didnt have the license. So yeah, I think you're on the right track with an idea like that, but that idea would have to be worked on a little bit for it to actually work.

It seems like a logical answer to a lot of problems, but in fact, I think it would cause more problems than it solves. Look at what a nightmare the DMV is. By the time the government decides you're qualified for a license, any normal woman's eggs will have shriveled. And what if you feel you're fit and responsible enough to be a parent, but the government decides your credit score isn't good enough?

They should, since to become a foster partent or adopt a child you have prove yourself worthy.
The same should be applied to birthing babies.
But the government can't control people mating. That's why anyone can have kids.
Think about this: Poligamy is illegal, but that doesn't stop men from living with a bunch of women, as man&wives.
They simply just don't marry them all on paper.

I normally hate government control; I believe in individual human rights. However.......when government has to end up supporting these children and / or having to intervene for the children's safety, then I believe that government control does not sound too bad.
There is no good answer to this problem. If someone has a child and ends up being such a poor parent that the governement has to intervene, then maybe the government should intervene before this same person has the chance to have another child.

As a foster parent, I would have to say yes. I know of far too many kids who are neglected because their parents aren't reponsible enough to raise them properly. Too many parents aren't willing to settle down and sacrifice their own desires in order to focus on their children.

No. A parent would never pass a test for a license to have a kid. A parent is never ready to be a parent, financially maybe, but mentally it's is something you have to get experience through learning. Some people just don't ever learn and they give us parents that are awesome a bad name.

Yes, they should be licensed and should take parenting classes in order to raise productive kids. If they don't pass their classes they should forbidden to have children.

I was a foster kid. Well, the foster parents I had were abusive. If people should be licensed to have kids, then they may as well be licensed to have sex since many people are irresponsible.
