No. I think we still live a double standard that says if a guy has many partners it makes him a man and if a woman does she is a whore.

Of course not. The correct term is "hypersexuality" and it aflicts men and women equally. Its just more socially acceptable for men to sleep around. They call it "sowing their wild oats". If a woman acts the same way, she's labeled a "$*ut".
To quote a clinical study on the subject:
"To many men, the idea of a woman with a greater sex drive than their own is somewhat threatening, so they may use the label to preserve their own egos by "proving" that the woman is abnormal."

Ask a gay guy what "chickenhawk" means. I don't think there's a similar term for women. The porno industry caters more to men. I think it's more about a person, not a gender.

That's not true. I know more men who are more promiscuous than many women, & I know some promiscuous women-my friend is prime example.
