Being a White Sox fan I am now a Phillie fan seeing you got all my players - Rowand, Iguchi & Garcia. I think they will - I actually would bet on the Phillies.
I am an American League fan but I like my guys, the guys that helped bring a champion to the South side of Chicago. So I will be in the Phillies corner, screw those North sider sCrUb fans. Day baseball in Chi-Town - Get a freakin' job you Cub fan - LOL. Go Phillies!!!!

Being a Philly fan I will try to answer this with as bias as possible. Playoffs yes I do think they will make the playoffs.
1. Wild Card, the Padres are banged up right now, and they were the only thing pushing the Phillies.
2. A little thing called competetive spirit, during the last series the Phil's had with Mets alot was said about the team in the NL to beat was the Mets. Rollins took Beltrans comments to heart and showed it on the field, and the Mets have been struggling every since.
3. As I said before either way it plays out it's good for the game of "Baseball" That's why the play 162 games!!!

The Phillies have a slightly harder schedule ahead of them compared to the Giants. The Phils have to play Atlanta 6 more times and the Mets 6 more times (practically the only teams that stand a chance of taking a series from them.) If the Phillies can keep it up and do what they've been doing lately (5-5 last ten games), the Giants have a shot at winning the wild card.

Its definitely possible. The mets are choking and the padres are basically without their outfield. It all comes down to the series against the Braves. Its probably the most important 3 games for the Phillies this year. People say the Phillies won't win the division, but they could definitely get wild card the way the Pads have played as of recent. Its all up in the air for the last week. Whoever wants it more will get it.

I am so mad right now. It should be the Rockies tied for the Wild Card lead and not the Phillies. ON Sep 10tth, Colorado was in PHilly, a homerun got called a ground ruled double costing the rockies 2 runs. They went on to lose the game by 1 run in extra innings. If this means the Phillies beat Colorado for the playoff spot by 1 game or some technicality when the 2 have the same record there is going to be hell to pay.

I want them to bounce the Mets outta the playoffs and have the Rockies take the wildcard. Mets don't deserve to make the playoffs, they're so overrated.

I was a little sceptical i must admit, when the mets starting winning again, but i think the phils can either win the division or the wild card b/c the leaders in those two things are faltering when they need to play their best......so yes, they will

Nobody can possibly answer this. It's all a guessing game..anything can happen. There are only 5 games left...the odds are not great.

yes. they are one of the hottest teams in baseball. they are hitting on all cylinders, acting like a team and getting better relief pitching. the mets and padres will stuggle these last few games.
