ANYTIME you have sex, you risk the chance of getting pregnant.

Like "Lost in Love" said. Use a back-up method for the first month. That's how long most birth control takes for full effect.

Some women can be fertile on the depo shot. That is like a 1% chance though. If you are having sexual intercourse please use condoms even though you are on the Depo Shot.
