Yes this can happen but it's very rare and usually only happens within the first month of the original conception. There are a couple of different ways this can happen. One is due to a double uterus, a condition called uterus didelphys. The other way it can happen is if the woman continues to have a menstrual cycle while pregnant. Check out these links below. Weird stuff.

Just fyi just because you have a period doesn't mean that you are ovulating! When you get pregnant the hormones actually tell your body to stop ovulation and not shed the lining of the uterus like you normally would when you get a period. The only way that I see for that to be possible is if you release more than one egg at the time of ovulation and both would have to be fertilized within about 24 hrs. or they would not be viable. But then you would assume that they are just twins even though they could be fertilized by two different men. Also in the very rare case that you would have a double uterus then I guess that is possible too, just not likely because again the hormone production from the "first" pregnancy would probably effect BOTH of the uterus. I haven't really found anything of major interest on the Internet though. Sorry.

Actually IT IS POSSIBLE>> very VERY uncommon.. but possible..

Think about it...some women have periods for the first few months of their pregnancy... If they have a period that means they are ovulating WHICH MEANS>> She COULD get pregnant..

Again it is VERY VERY UNCOMMON but still possible..

EDIT!!!
Finally!!! I FOUND YOU SOME LINKS>> Hope this helps.

EDIT AGAIN!!!!

SORRY the first link works but not the others..atleast not for me.. BUT you can just do a search for : Woman born with 2 uteruses...

Heres another link!!!

Among fraternal twins, in rare cases, the eggs are fertilized at different times with two or more acts of sexual intercourse, either within one menstrual cycle (superfecundation) or, even more rarely, later on in the pregnancy (superfetation). This can lead to the possibility of a woman carrying fraternal twins with different fathers (that is, half-siblings). This phenomenon is known as heteropaternal superfecundation. One 1992 study estimates that the frequency of heteropaternal superfecundation among dizygotic twins whose parents were involved in paternity suits was approximately 2.4%; see the references section, below, for more details.

I have heard of being pregnant by two men in the same night
but I dont know if they (the kids) got their own website

hyperovulation is what they call it when more than one egg is produced and released and this has to happen together in the correct time of month
once an egg is fertilized new eggs dont keep being prepared till after birth

I saw where that happened on an episode of Grey's anatomy, but the lady also had two uteruses. I think the episode was called ham or eggs. I think that it may be possible but would have to happen is extremely unlikely circumstances.

It is true, you can still conceive while your pregnant with your 1st. My cousin went to her doctor when she was 8 weeks. Then again when shes was 12 weeks. She had twins yeah it was amazing. They were in different sacks. Its true great question!!!

I don't think that's possible, considering the fact that you don't ovulate during pregnancy. Also, the cervix closes, which means the sperm can't get in. That's an interesting question though.

It's called superfecundation, rarely happens in humans but it's possible!
