you can have pre-eclampsia and/or preterm labor without GD, you are just more prone to them with it.

You can have one without the other. However, they can be connected. Pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, gestational diabetes and HELLP syndrome, to name a few, are all metabolic issues. Therefore, it is possible for someone to have more than one of these metablic issues during the same pregnancy. While these are not the only possible reasons for preterm labor, they certainly can advance the possibility of having preterm labor or needing to be induced early. If you want to avoid getting metabolic issues like the above mentioned conditions, go to this site. www.blueribbonbaby.org The OB doctor who did the studies mentioned had a 100% success rate with just good nutrition for his patients. Dr. Brewer is, in fact, a legend in the midwifery community. I highly recommend the nutritional plan on that site. It has saved the lives of countless moms and thier babies and improved the health of untold numbers of pregnant women and their infants. My last child is no exception. I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy on the "Brewer Diet" (which is really just a nutrition plan) with my sixth after having my fifth at 26 weeks and 3 days due to ecclampsia. (that is ike preeclampsia, by the way, only it includes seisures, too) I ate poorly with the fifth, not really thinking. I am sure that some would not rate it as poor, either. However, with my 5th child, I did not eat enough protein and that caused the metabolic issue of ecclampsia. I tested my bp with #6 and as long as I remained on the Brewer diet, my bp stayed low. Yes, I checked to see if there was a connection. Now I tell everyone who will listen that gestational d and pre e and many other issues that doctors do not want to tell us about are actually diet-controlled! You can't avoid all instances of preterm labor with the Brewer diet, but you can avoid those connected with metabolic issues. You really can!

Yes, you can have preeclampsia and preterm labor but not gestational diabetes. I did.

It really depends on the cause of your preeclampsia (which may never be known). I am at high risk for it b/c of some antibodies in my blood but it has nothing to do w/ gestational diabetes. If someone became preeclamptic and it was linked to being obese, for example, diabetes is a good chance too.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Yes, you can go into pre-term labor for many reasons! I went into pre-term labor twice with my last pregnancy because I had a kidney infection!
