How old were you when you first went fishing?

Probably around 10 years old and heck yes, I caught a bass.

We lived really close to creeks, springs and rivers so I was able to start fishing at about 4 or 5. I just caught little perch or trout or a bull catfish. Just small fry. One time I took a limb and string and made my own fishing pole. I used a safety pin as a hook and a worm for bait and I caught a blue gill. I was really proud of my self. Since then I have fished trout, and even Marlin in the ocean. I enjoy it a lot. And i still live next to a creek!

I was about 5 and I didn't catch anything. I took my young kids to a trout farm to fish so that they would catch something for sure.
My daughter threw all the bait in and the fish stopped biting. The other people there were not happy.

I was about 10. I didn't catch anything.
Although, later when I was about 16, I used to go fishing for large-mouth bass at local lakes in my county. I had a good time, one time I caught a 3 pound bass.

I was 2 and I won a lantern as the littlest fisherman. Caught a perch. Not that I remember that, but I am now 52 and I have that lantern on my shelf today of my prize trophy so to speak.
