I was having trouble sleeping recently too. The advice I received was to not stress out too much about it while you're laying in bed--don't remind yourself that you can't sleep. Don't do anything that will make your brain more "active"--like watching t.v. or counting jumping sheep (instead of that think of floating over a pasture and counting sleeping sheep--i know it sounds weird!). If you're drinking a lot of caffeine you should cut down, or maybe even start exercising because it tires your body. The simplest advice though is to just relax and eventually you will fall asleep.

Usually if i can't sleep i 'll watch TV or read Novel or comic.
But if if this still didn't work i 'll create story on my mind, usually love story that i dream of.
And you also can try this out, Drink a glass of warm ginger tea , then massage your bare feet, and relax your shoulder.
To make ginger tea, slice a fresh ginger and put in the glass, pour hot water a half and a fresh water another half, pour a little bit lime juice (made from fresh lime) and sugar(optional).
try it and you will love it!

There are many solutions, they include:
1. Taking prescription pills
2. Exercising
3. Laying of sugar and caffine
4. Read a boring book or watch boring tv
5. Go to bed and just close your eyes, or get a blindfold
6. The humming sound of A/C also helps...Lol

Well when i was little and couldnt sleep my dad would always heat up a glass of milk. When i was older i asked him why he would heat it up, and he said the heat releases this protein or something that helps you go to sleep. Have a hot glass of milk and read a book. Always works for me!!

try to relax and clear your mind of any worries, when your mind is still active it's hard for the body to actually feel sleepy,
a warm bath before going to sleep or warm milk does the trick.
